| General Overview | Thea Queen was the original party Queen. When her brother and father disappeared she turned to anything that would make her forget that she wasn't the perfect child her mother thought she should be. Hell, she basically took up where her brother had left off before he'd disappeared. It was, however, her brother who had eventually and forced her to sober up and look at her life through different eyes. So she decided to follow in her brother's footsteps and join Starfleet academy. Thea Queen wanted to find herself, and see if there was something she could do differently. |

| Personal History | Thea Queen wasn't what you'd call a model daughter. Like most kids, she made choices even in the space age kids make bad choices. While she did make some good choices like taking Martial Arts, Acrobatics, Gymnastics, Archery, Swordsmanship, and Music, there were also a few bad choices. It was how she earned the nickname speedy. After the disappearance of her father and brother Thea and spiraled down a dark path. Drug use was a hard road to come back from, one that Thea almost didn't if not for the help of her brother's friend Tommy Merlyn. Thea did everything from pills to dropping acid that nearly had her in irreversible trouble. Tommy helped her to decide if she wanted to keep hurting herself, or if she wanted to become stronger, strong enough to help her mother cope with the loss, and strong enough to help reduce the risk of loved ones disappearing in space to threats such as the borg. At sixteen years of age, Thea decided that she didn't want to just throw her life away. She didn't want to give up and let her world fall around her. So the young girl decided to straighten her life up and get her head screwed on straight. Working harder in school, Thea managed to raise her GPA and get enough credits to get accepted into Starfleet Academy where she used the few decent skills she'd learned in high school to follow a career in Security/Tactical in the Academy with a minoring in Science. Hoping that maybe she could find her brother as well as strive to help make things safer. |
