Some Maiden Voyage that was!

To say that this was the strangest maiden voyage of a vessel I’ve ever been a part of is putting it mildly. Finding out one of the crew can change his appearance, being stuck with a Ferengei Engineer that thinks he knows better than everyone else, some sort of multi-dimensional travel, finding our dead selves inside a nebula, Suliban attacking Vulcan, oh and watching the Counselor have one of his spirit episodes. I am almost tempted to put in for an immediate transfer, but then, it was amazing to watch this crew find the best possible end and get us back home where we belong.

Smoke has been a great role model during all this. Especially when dealing with our overzealous crewman and his penchant for doing first and then informing us only when asked. I really hope that he realizes how much danger he could have put us in with some of his... modifications. Core seems like a highly intelligent engineer and I would hate to see his career end before he really gets a chance to prove himself.

Right now, though, all I want is to find a nice quiet place to unwind. And that does not include Quark’s. That’s where this whole thing began and I for one want to stay far, far away from there, at least for now.
