Joint Personal Log: More questions
By: Cmdr Magnus Morgensen & Lt. Heather Argeneau

Heather turned as Morgensen entered the wellness center the hair on the back of her neck standing on end and a shiver ran down her spine. "Something wrong?" She asked though it wasn't really a question. From the look in his eyes, she knew something was up, Heather had a feeling she wasn't going to like the answer either. "I just had the feeling of someone walking over my grave and yet I've never thought I'd experience that feeling," Heather admitted as if it were Ironic since Her Great Uncle was like 3000 years old so she wasn't so sure that there would ever be a grave for someone to walk over.

Stepping inside the Wellness Center and letting the doors slide shut behind him, he glanced around the room to make sure they were alone before speaking, his head lowering a bit. "Yeah... those devices that we found? Apparently, there's some connection between them and our DNA... Dr. Adon saw visions of crystals... and his most recent one involved blood. A lot of blood..." Letting out a gentle sigh, he stepped over to his wife, wrapping his arms around her and placing his face into her shoulder. "I thought we left behind any traces of what we are when we left the Aldrin... but I can't help but think someone talked about us..."

Heather hugged him back, "Our blood, but why would our blood be needed. Did you have any flashbacks or memories just now or on your way here?" Heather asked still hugging him and feeling safe. "Because just before you came in here I had some kind of memory of when we were on the holodeck on DS9," Heather said looking up into his eyes.

A deep sigh escaped from him, and he thought hard for a second or two, shaking his head. "Nothing, in particular, comes to mind, to be honest... but let's be honest, I'm still new to all of this... It's like I'm a toddler still learning to walk again." He straightened up a bit and raised an eyebrow. "I don't understand either. What would our blood have to do with all of this? Even better... how did they get both of our DNA patterns?"

"I think we lost some time, I had a memory of being at the holodeck party and people talking about needing help," Heather explained.

Morgensen shook his head gently and looked around for a moment. "Heather... who would know about what we are, and how would they be able to get our DNA without us knowing? Even further, how the hell did they manage to make three devices that would be able to move us out of our space-time in a matter of hours while we were in the holodeck? How'd they got in and out? None of it makes any sense!" It was obvious his anger was beginning to show again, and he took a deep breath and sighed.

Heather waited until he was done with his question until he had taken a few calming breaths. "I cannot answer those questions as far as I know no one should know about us outside of my family and the Aldrin. I have not had a chance to even look at the devices in question, have you? Is there anything about them that I need to know to answer your questions?" Heather asked.

He sighed once more and shook his head a bit. "We need the bring them here... and we need to inform the Captain... I've never been the type to hide, Heather... and it obviously isn't working out for us. People need to know what they're up against so we can come up with a way to fight it. Can't just expect things to roll over and disappear..." Slapping his hand down onto one of the biobeds, he groaned a bit to himself. "I don't see any other options..."

"Your right, we don't have another option I'd like a look at those devices though, and see how they require our blood. Looking us over for any needle marks isn't going to work we heal way too quickly especially something as tiny as a needle. we'll need to remember what happened. all I know is I had a memory after you called down here to say we needed to talk and it sounded as if someone needed our help to stop something I just don't know what." Heather sighed and shook her head it was a mess that was for sure.

Morgensen nodded gently and lifted his beloved's chin up to face him, wrapping an arm around her waist and kissing her lips gently. "We'll get everyone through this. We'll figure it out... and when we do, I won't rest until I find the ones who did this and get answers..." His face was adamant. Stern and unwavering. The look in his eyes held the same fire he had the day he met her. That same Viking passion... turns out he hadn't left it behind after all.

Heather smiled as she kissed him back seeing the Viking passion in her eyes left her with no doubt as to his promise to find whoever had started this.
