Joint Duty Log: The Suliban

On the screen, the orange, scaled humanoid stared back at the multitude of people he could see. {Interesting, am I seeing a Klingon on a ship with humans? for that matter, I do not recall Humans having space ships.} Silik thought to himself interested in what was going on. "I am Silik of the Suliban, your ship is unknown, but I find it interesting that I see familiar races working together while they are currently at war. We've been trying to barter peace between them, unfortunately, they seem resistant to the thought of peace," Silik explained in a way of greeting the unfamiliar ship.

"I'm Captain Phoenix" she responded. Ravynn hated being forced into communicating with anyone not knowing exactly what timeline they were in and knowing it was against protocol but what choice did she have. Currently, they were sitting ducks.

Oliver was standing next to Ravynn, just a half step behind her to the right. Obviously, not saying anything as of yet.

Silik was quiet for a moment after the introduction, "Nice to meet you, Captain, May I ask, purely out of curiosity mind you, where are you from?" Silik asked even as he motioned off-screen for his crew to scan the unknown ship.

Ravynn glanced sidelong to Ollie. " We are just an exploration vessel that is all if you don't mind, we would like to be on our way without provocations.

Silik arched one brow at the captain of the unknown ship. "an exploration vessel with a Tellarite and a bajorian on board? I'm having a hard time believing you are just an exploration vessel? and I'm not so sure I like an unknown equation in my section of space." Silik said with a smile that wasn't so friendly anymore.

"We all work together for the better of all races. There are no hidden agendas here I assure you." She had to think quick. Before long they could find their selves in a shoot out. She was surprised he even believed she was the captain without batting an eye.

The rest of the crew were already trusted to be ready regardless of what happened, so there was no need for Oliver to check on them silently. "If you care to look closer, none of them are subjegated, there's no restraining devices on them. All of us want to be here and work together."

"Really? how interesting, Now I see." Silik smirked. "You, you are borg are you not. yes very interesting, and a very big problem for me. I am sorry Captain, but you and your crew are going to help me." Silik ended the conversation without giving them a chance to respond. As the viewscreen changes back to the void of space, the stars and the suliban ship fading back as the cloak is turned back on. Two other suliban ships appear weapons hot and firing on the Roddenberry.

"SHIELDS AT FULL!" Ravynn yelled
