::Shows her the padd:: I ran a scan, and there are several dampeners operating in this room and programmed to keep us in. I am thinking more and more this isn't sabotage so much as trying to separate us for some purpose such as taking over our new ship or DS9. ::Shows her the readings on the mini-tric she had:: And then I found this tiny chink in the dampeners. We might be able to get through there.

::With the two phasers at work, all Morgensen could do was carefully refine their alignments and keep an eye on their modulations as they worked, slowly but surely ramping up their settings.::

Action: The two phasers in tandem with each other did the intended job, at least with disrupting a part of that section of the wall.

Yes, this is large holosuite since we are hosting so many people. Cardassian in design.

Excuse me everyone. ::speaking into microphone:: As some of you have guess there is an issue with the door. We are working diligently to get them open. I need everyone to relax and to continue to try and enjoy yourselves.

::Giving a sigh and deactivating both of the phasers for a moment.:: Every little interruption puts me at a risk of burning my hand off, Oli. With you reaching in between them to get to that panel, it puts your whole arm at risk, if not more. Pardon my abrasiveness over my desire to keep my limbs intact... ::Finally looks at the PADD.:: Did we manage to figure out where those dampeners are at?

I understand the concentration and yes I want to keep mine as well, however, they didn't know what we were doing. As for that, I would assume that's what the micro-tricorder would be for.

Mostly sound. If we can get Vic to have one of his musicians play a suspended high E it might interfere with it

Oh, so the sound from the holosuite does not get outside, or for a loud sounds to vibrate the station.

I'm so proud of everyone. Fantastic job. I sat in awe watching each.of you work to find solutions. TBS will be determined if logs are done or not to see if the doors are open.

I have a comment I'd like to make.
Laurel, Juglans, I in no way as a simmer have anything but positivity for how you both attempted to find your superior officer to report a problem you had discovered. My utmost pride in you both. I do hope my actions in-character do not reflect poorly out of sim, and I also hope it's understood ICly why my attitude was the way it was. Working with two phasers pushed beyond their safe limits can be dangerous, and the slightest twitch? I could lose a hand. Just saying. Good job you two.

A couple glitches here and there, but yes, really good job. Obviously we didn't get out this week, even though that was the plan but it was working well for everyone rolling with things. Logs would be nice, everyone stay safe and enjoy your week.
