Argeneau is there to ensure away crews will get immediate medical if need be and Targus will hopefully satisfy his curiosity of the Kiratan species along with his curiosity of the relationship between Orlaff and Forlan.

If I can calibrate the sensors correctly, I can get an accurate coordinate with a margin of error of 2% on the core itself. R$ Radiation sickness and poisoning mainly deals with internal damage we can mainly rely on the bio beds, then it's just treating the fever, the vomiting, and helping to ease their pain until the bio beds handle it.

The Phintera core will be stabilized. The Kiratan will be instructed to remain within a certain distance of their home system, and no further.

One thing I did want to get out during the sim, and I'm glad you all picked up on it was the Kiratan disdain for the humanoids, and how they were not worried about their slaves. There is not muc the Federation can do for the humanoid population on Liona III, because of the Prime Directive. We were able to treat them, medically, and if youwant to do logs, even save some of them. Much to the Kiratan disdain.

Since Liona III was a humanoid colony of the Federation, does the prime directive still apply?

No. It never was a part of the Federation. One thing I had made clear at the start of this plot was that Liona III had been "tagged" by exploration teams as a pre-warp civilization. The Phintera in their desperation, landed on Liona III, but tried to keep out of the way of the indegenous population. They, however landed in the territory of the Kirata, who overtaook their settlement and thus their ship.
