Try sending a masked signal to one of the Vulcan ships, asking if they need assistance. That way, they don't know who we are yet.

No, it's not so much fluctuating as it is fading it's at least a day or two old. The worm hole signature however is fluctuating.

The more problems we try to fix at once the more others get delayed then they stack up on eachother causeing headaches like that one I have now.

once the probe was launched it took a moment for readings to come back. Inside was fluctuating points coming and going in moments showing different realities some with federation readings some without some where there were Klingon's in control of the alpha quadrant if they weren't careful they'd end up lost. The probe however couldn't handle the fluctuating frequencies for long and exploded inside the worm hole.

Vhat little ve did get from ze probe raised more questions than answers. It looks like multiple realities overlayed on top of each other.
Computer :
Most of the chatter on the comms was back ground noise. but the war between Klingon and Vulcan was definitely the main topic. Some Klingon sects were planning an assassination attempt on the Vulcan high coucil believing that would end their war or extend it especially if it swings toward the Klingon's side.
